About
Jovan Ilic, also known as Bons, is a Drum & Bass and Neurofunk DJ and producer from Novi Sad, Serbia. His older brother introduced him to Neurofunk in 2005. Since then, he has loved strong basslines and dark melodies. He started DJing in 2011 and quickly became known for his energetic sets. In 2017, he released his first EP, "Vision," on True Bass Recordings. This was a big step for his music career. Bons works very hard and has released over 70 tracks across more than 20 record labels. Some of the most popular ones include Boey Audio, Bass Rabbit Recordings, Hanzom Music, Raving Panda Records, NeuroDNB Recordings, Close 2 Death Recordings, and many others. Because of his great music, he has received support from big names like Black Sun Empire, Cause 4 Concern, Concord Dawn, Jade, Disphonia, Mindscape, Maztek, Erb N Dub, and Abis. Bons mixes hard Neurofunk, fast Rollers, and a little bit of Balkan flavor. He has brought his massive sound all over Europe, playing shows from Germany and Hungary to the Czech Republic, where he performed at the famous Cross Club in Prague. A huge turning point in his career came in 2023 when he played at the legendary Pirate Station festival
