After a five-year release hiatus, she returns with A River Without Banks, an album shaped by reflection on memory, change and how it feels to experience the passage of time. Rooted primarily in liquid drum and bass, the record brings together years of ideas revisited and reshaped, blending the warmth and imperfection of early 2000s influences with modern vocal collaborations. The result is a sound that feels both familiar and newly grounded, led by atmosphere, restraint and emotional honesty. With past releases on Soulvent Records and support from Calibre, Random Movement, BCee and Pola & Bryson, A River Without Banks marks Dilemma’s return via Spearhead Records - a continuation with clarity, carrying forward a strand of liquid drum and bass that comes from somewhere real.
