About
I also make techno: http://soundcloud.com/willemb Amsterdam based producer kr4y, real name Willem Borgesius, has a strong techno influence from his misspent youth in the Netherlands, which shines through his drum and bass productions. Following his degree in Creative Music Technology, kr4y lost interest in a lot of drum and bass for a few years. During this time, he was still making dnb beats, but grew away increasingly unaware of developments in d...nb. This dramatically changed in 2007 when he discovered the techno influenced dnb sound from a Venom Inc online radio show hosted by Dj Senator and TN1. Sounds from producers such as Pyro, Proket, Pylon and Allied showed that there was no need to lose interest in dnb again. Apart from commercial digital releases, kr4y has had many releases on a number of netlabels, run purely on the love for music and creative freedom. Since 2008 he has been running the beataddiction.cc netlabel together with German producer Arje. This netlabel releases free tracks by themselves as well as sounds from a selection of other artists on a highly irregular basis. Other free legal downloads by kr4y can be found on T-Free, Qu-Beats, HMSU, and Internet Reco
