Biography
Lumia is a New York DJ and producer working in bass-heavy house, tech house and left-of-center vocal production. Rooted in the city's underground, her sets move between deep, rolling grooves and sharper, high-energy production. Her debut EP Kite was released independently in summer 2025 and drew editorial support from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Her single "New York" took the cover of Spotify's Fresh Finds Dance. She was named Breakthrough Artist at the 2026 Femmy Awards, presented by Femme House and Billboard during Miami Music Week. She was named New York’s coolest DJ by The Cut. She has shared bills with Claude VonStroke, Chris Lake, Adriatique, Bedouin, Chloé Caillet, Patrick Mason and Tinashe, with regular dates at Knockdown Center, Brooklyn Army Terminal and Elsewhere. She played Do LaB at Coachella in 2026. New music arrives fall 2026.
