M-zine’s work is meticulous and transportive. He is an artist plucked from the deepest depths of Drum & bass music, and taking influences from genres like Techno, Hip-Hop, Soul & Funk, M-zine has carved his own niche in the Drum & Bass scene. M-zine started his journey as a Drum & Bass producer in 2011 with Proximity Recordings with two funky releases in Peristaltic and Riddance. His first Vinyl release came in 2012 with Swiss-based label Demand Records. Endings, a hypnotic low-end roller was heavily supported by some of the heavyweights in Drum & Bass like Doc Scott, Skeptical, Spinline, and Loxy. M-zine’s watershed moment as producer came in 2013; when he saw his music being released on labels like Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings, and Warm Communications, with a special mention by Tom Yorke’s “Pissing In The Wind On A Monday” for his release on 31 Recordings.
