With a background in classical piano and music theory, he brings strong musicality into his productions—blending emotion with powerful dancefloor impact. Inspired by artists such as Dimension, Sub Focus and Wilkinson, Exception found his lane in melodic DnB after starting out in other genres. Breaking into the Belgian scene wasn’t easy, but his persistence paid off with releases on Crucast, High Tea, and Ridmic. He has since supported major names such as Andromedik, Used and quickly stepped onto bigger stages— Rampage Open Air’s mainstage, Tomorrowland (Monstercat hosting), Andromedik Invites, DnB Allstars, and many more. With over a million streams on his Waterfalls bootleg and new music on the way, Exception continues to push his sound forward—driven, melodic, and built for damaging club/festival sound rigs.
