About
NBC9 is a Canadian drum and bass producer known for cinematic sound design, heavy low‑end, and progressive neurofunk influences. After returning to music in 2024 following a 19‑year hiatus, he quickly re‑established himself with releases on DNB Doctor, Arrival.Archetype, LoveThatBass, DNBB Records, and his own label, Embassy 9 Recordings. Alongside a steady run of singles, he has grown Embassy 9 into a platform for emerging talent, expanding its roster and international reach. His 2025 album State of Control introduced a dark, futuristic narrative later expanded through Fragments and Fragments 2.0. The story continues with The Resistance Protocol, arriving in late fall/early winter 2026, exploring survival and rebuilding after systemic collapse.
