https://linktr.ee/therealkoolaid1 Damien Hendrix is a recording artist and DJ who exists at the intersection of past and future. Today, he is known for his genre-defying sound — blending hip-hop, electronic, punk trap, and digi-core into something uniquely his own. But long before the Snoop Dogg feature and the acclaim for his latest EP, he was a fixture in South Florida's underground electronic scene under the name KooL AiD. From 2009 to 2012, KooL AiD performed at some of Miami's most iconic venues — Club Space (on the Terrace), Nocturnal, Mekka, Livingroom, Club Cinema, Club Exit, and Club Boca — spinning Drum & Bass, Progressive House, French House, Dubstep, and Belgian Techno. During this time, he was also a member of The Grime Monsters, Zona Entertainment, and Konkrete Jungle (DnB). After more than a decade away from the decks, Damien is rebranding and coming back to re-enter the Miami music scene as “The Real KoolAid”. He is relaunching the project alongside his current work as Damien Hendrix, offering clubs and festivals a rare dual-threat: a DJ who can move seamlessly from house, dubstep, drum and bass and techno mixed all live on the fly.
