With over two decades of influence on Drum & Bass, FRICTION is the founder of the iconic labels Shogun Audio and Elevate Records, and a 2011 inductee into the Drum&BassArena Hall of Fame. Recognized alongside pioneers such as Andy C and Goldie as one of the genre's most influential figures, he spent six years hosting BBC Radio 1's iconic Drum & Bass Show, introducing audiences worldwide to the genre's evolving sounds.
